African myths are mixed into traditions and beliefs in many of its communities.

In most African cultures history and beliefs are part of oral traditions and storytelling. These stories are an important part of African life. They include themes like magic, ancestral spirits, celestial beings, and unusual creatures. Furthermore, these themes point out the diversity and wealth of African culture, showing us how the people of the continent make sense of the material and spiritual world around them.
